As a business manager, I grew income over seven years by 255% generating 1.6M in revenue streams per year, year-on-year profit margins between 4% and 8%, and directed a staff of 20 people. Under my leadership, a once underperforming unit went from lowest ranking in the district to a top performer.

As an engineering manager I successfully led my department to A2LA (ISO 17025) accreditation after only one year in operation. The Shanghai startup laboratory received exceptional praise from the lead auditor as he wrote in his final report, "This lab has come up to speed faster than any other lab I have evaluated." I worked closely with all departments, even being a mentor to the young sales staff in delivering quotations, schedules, sales presentations and contract negotiations.

With over 30 years of working experience, I have developed a characteristic style and initiative to observe, analyze, plan, implement, evaluate, train and sustain. My work history has common threads that bind it together; notably, a record of achievement and advancement leading to managerial roles.

My education is from Southern Illinois University, School of Engineering and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and ABET accreditation. I earned certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) along with minor degrees in mathematics and music. While studying at the Carbondale campus I also worked as a paralegal tutor in math for learning disabled collegians.

I am an authorized instructor for OSHA 10 and 30 hour General Industry courses. In addition to consulting, I work as a safety engineer for the Department of the Army.
